How to prepare yogurt bread
- At first, prepare the yeast, by adding a quarter cup of warm water, then add a quarter teaspoon of sugar to it, and a quarter teaspoon of yeast.
- Leave the yeast for 10 minutes to rise and make sure it is active.
- Then, bring a deep bowl, and add 2 cups of all-purpose flour to half a teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter teaspoon of salt.
- Mix the previous ingredients together well, then add the prepared yeast and a cup of yogurt.
- Start kneading all the previous ingredients, with a mixer or using your hands, until you get a soft and cohesive dough.
- Then put the dough in a clean bowl, cover the bowl with a piece of cloth, and leave it in a dark and warm place for half an hour.
- Then take the dough out of the bowl, then cut it in half, and each half into 5 parts.
- Start preparing each piece in the form of a ball, then roll each ball into a medium-sized circle.
- After you have finished preparing all the pieces, put a pan on low heat, put each loaf on it, start pressing the edges of the dough, and flip it on both sides.
